Shani Maharaj Navgrah
Shani, planet Saturn in Sanskrit, is the believed to be the god of justice in the Hindu astronomical system. He is a giver of justice based on one’s karma, speech and thoughts and signifies discipline, penance and hard work. White marble from Makrana has been used to carve his statue where due diligence has been done to define his facial features, his stance and his vehicle, the cow, with gold coloured enamelling. The highly skilled artisan has invested his sincerity to his craft in creating a masterpiece.
